This day was very special to me for many reasons. I've know this couple for almost 12 years now and really, they are like family. When I moved to Reno to go to college, I worked at the most amazing steak house in town; and it was there, where I met some of my very best friends and life mates. I wish more people would have had the opportunities I've had to experience life in such a precious way. I feel extremely grateful to have met and grown with these people.
I've been blessed to mark some important milestones in Nick and Denise's life through photography. From family, maternity and newborn, to the first year and beyond with their first born, Addisyn. And here we are, all over again for their second daughter, Alivia.
Her birthday was scheduled for May 8th, 2013. It was a beautiful morning; the perfect day to meet this new life and just in time for Mother's Day! I met them at the hospital in the pre-op room. With nervous gitters and emotions high, I was able to witness one of the happiest days of their lives thus far. A joyful day, full of love! I couldn't have asked for a more rare opportunity and thank them to no end, for allowing me the experience. As well as a huge thank you to dad, Nick, for the pictures I wasn't able to take in the operating room.
Congratulations Nick, Denise and Addisyn on your new baby girl!
